Bringing a Vision to Life
It took months to bring our vision to life and the process was oh so long, but definitely worth it. We decided that we wanted a living space in our barn, but figuring out the details takes time and a lot of imagination and inspiration. We have a 39 foot fifth wheel camper with three slides. We needed enough space to extend the sides and allow for room to store tubs, tools, etc. We changed things up to the day we poured the foundation and even after that we tweaked the layout inside some. We finally came up with this floor plan and exterior elevations.
The downstairs is very open from the kitchen through the living room. There will be 16’ to 20’ ceilings in the living room. It’s going to look so cool with the stair railing that we are hoping will be black metal with horizontal rails. The kitchen doesn’t have a ton of cabinets so our pantry is huge! So below is the plan that we eventually decided on and we ended up changing it after we walked through the upstairs area.
